We are a new, Norfolk-based theatre company with a distinctly local flavour. Created with support from the Arts Council England lottery project fund.

Our work puts the stories of the ‘everyperson’ centre stage…from Norfolk Nana’s to first time mums

We use puppetry, verbatim audio, new writing, mask and more to create a unique theatrical experience.

Having spent nearly 15 years away from home, it is returning to my roots and the pull between a longing for something other and belonging to one’s community that inspired our first solo show ‘There’s no place like Cromer’. The show celebrates Norfolkian humour and idiosyncrasies, and is my love letter to a home I abandoned for some time.”

Currently we are focussed on collecting the stories of Norfolk’s older generation and have spent 1.5 years collecting verbatim, audio material which will form the basis of our upcoming show…
